Our deacon board seeks to follow the biblical example established by the early disciples as Spirit-filled men were chosen and set aside to be servant partners with the pastors. Deacons assist the pastors and staff in all areas of ministry, service, support, and leadership to the family of God. Serves and strives to meet the ever growing spiritual and physical needs of the church and its attendant ministries. Deacons are those men in the church, appointed and ordained by the elders, who lead, facilitate, organize, and equip others with serving gifts to minister effectively within the Body of Christ. They assist by caring for the poor, the sick, the preparation and administration of the Ordinances; service of the Communion and Baptism. Every member of the congregation is assigned to a Deacon.
