First Lady Samantha Lane
Sister Samantha Lane was born on March 11 to Bishop Samuel Hunt, Sr. and Elder Janet Hunt in Florida, USA. She is the eldest of two siblings. From birth she was raised to submit to the will of God, love Him intimately, love His people and serve His church. As a preacher’s kid, Sister Lane sought to learn from the gifts of her parents from home to ministry, cultivating the innate gifts God had specifically given her through song, leadership and nurturing the present and younger generations. She has always found comfort in ultimately serving and resting in the will of God. In 2001, she decided to rededicate herself back to the Lord through baptism, desiring to be the woman God had called and purposed her to be. With the support of her parents and church family, she was able to excel in many areas, with a burning desire to be a part of the healing, deliverance and freedom of God’s people.
